New app for INPLAN Terminal Operations System (ITOS)

We have supplemented our INPLAN Terminal Operations System (ITOS) with our newly developed App for warehouse management and thus offer our terminal operating clients another customer service-oriented product. Within the ITOS module for warhouse management, terminal operators can now give customers a highly flexible and real-time option for retrieval of data about their warehouse stock. The App for iOS and Android follows INPLAN's product strategy of supporting mobile and profoundly networked value and logistics chain.

Seaport of Wismar is the first customer using the app offering it to its customers since July 1st, 2017. Regardless of general cargo, bulk, wood or scrap, customers may look up its warehouse stock at any time.

Having implemented ITOS and its warehouse module among a number of modernisation phases, Seaport of Wismar now boasts state-of-the-art technology and takes a leading role among the German baltic ports. Helmut Kremp, Managing Director of Wismar Port points out the benefit for the port's customers: "For us it was important to develop a solution which emphasizes speed and transparency of our processes." Of course, a high level of usability and security is part of the solution.

The app is available now in the Google-Playstore and in the iTunes/Appstore, registration and approval are required preconditions.
